My new favorite book now looking forward to seeing the movie just like some people , though . my perception of a geisha that they were" prostitutes" but again , pleasantly surprised they're not and ironically enough sex was the only thing they had a yes or no say in you did not want to be a geisha you are chosen and then train they were Renaissance women walking pieces of art . if you will , trained in every social matter from the art of conversation to having a silent role as a diplomat and what I also found about this particular book . that was surprising . it was written by a 40-year-old white male
